Meet Dr. Rick Newhart D.D.S.

  Dr. Newhart opened his periodontal office in February, 1989 at 1308 Market Street, Parkersburg, WV. Dr. Newhart has felt that it is important to bring the newest technology and techniques for the detection and treatment of gum disease to his Parkersburg office. Some of these newer techniques include: Guided Tissue Regeneration, Guided bone regeneration, root coverage techniques and we also do genetic testing for gum disease. We do enzymatic testing for periodontal disease activity and also anti-microbial therapy with tetracycline fibers, chlorhexidine chips, doxycycline gel and we prescribe for the new low dose doxycycline pill taken twice daily to decrease periodontal disease activity. This office provides full and comprehensive periodontal examinations and cleanings by our dedicated and professional staff.
